Rack PDUs
A rack PDU (power distribution unit) takes one feed and spreads it across the equipment in the rack. Vertical PDUs mount at the back of floor cabinets; horizontal 1U PDUs suit wall-mount racks.

UPS for server racks
A UPS keeps servers and network gear running through short outages and lets them shut down cleanly in longer ones. Size it to the real load in watts and the runtime you need.

Cooling and airflow
Most rack equipment draws cool air in at the front and exhausts at the back. Perforated doors, blanking panels and fans keep that path clear.

Frequently asked questions
What accessories does a server rack need?
Most racks need at least a PDU, blanking panels and cable management. Server racks usually add a UPS and shelves; closed rooms often need fans. Patch panels are needed wherever building cabling terminates in the rack.
Are PDUs and fans included with your racks?
No. Our listed 42U cabinets include 3 fixed shelves, assembly screws and cage nuts. PDUs, fans and other accessories are optional and quoted separately.
How do I size a UPS for a server rack?
Add up the power draw of the equipment in watts, add headroom for growth, and decide how many minutes of runtime you need. Send us the equipment list and we size the UPS and battery packs on the quotation.
Which PDU plug and socket type do I need in Malaysia?
Smaller racks often use UK (BS 1363) sockets with a 13A plug. Servers and network equipment commonly use IEC C13 or C19 sockets, fed from a 16A or higher supply. Tell us the equipment and power feed and we match the PDU.
Do you install rack accessories?
No. We supply the accessories; mounting, electrical connection and cabling are done by your own team, electrician or contractor.
